DigiCosme is an excellence laboratory center (labex) in the field of computer science and communication. Operated by the Foundation for Scientific Cooperation (FSC) Paris-Saclay, it received 9M€ for the 2012-2019 period as part of the program investissements d’avenir launched by the french ministry of research and higher education. DigiCosme's scientific project tackles three key challenges that will define future information and communication systems : reliability, scalability and data intelligence. As our world increasingly depends on digital systems, research conducted by DigiCosme's scientists will impact all levels of society. In order to fulfill the promise of the digital age to enforce a knowledge-rich society, able to face the 21st century challenges, Labex DigiCosme carries out actions in the fields of EDUCATION, RESEARCH and INNOVATION. |
MISSIONS

EDUCATION In order for every student to acquire fundamental knowledge in computer science, DigiCosme supports the implementation of ambitious curricula, elaborated by engineering schools together with universities.

RESEARCH Labex DigiCosme's scientific project is structured along three key challenges that will define future information and communication systems : reliability (SciLex), scalability (ComEx) and data intelligence (DataSense).
|
INNOVATION DigiCosme helps creating bridges between basic and applied research in fields offering great opportunities toward industry (especially SMEs), in which scientists from Saclay are internationally acknowledged experts .

ACTIONS

CALLS Digicosme issues various calls for scholarships or research projects related to the Labex areas of interest.

EVENTS DigiCosme organises events to increase exchanges between research teams and create ties with various publics

FUNDED ACTIONS DigiCosme supports collaborative actions, working groups and workshops proposed by member teams.
