Ramón Pino Pérez currently works at the Department of Mathematics, University of the Andes (Venezuela). Ramón does research in Logic and Foundations of Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence and Microeconomics. His current projects are 'Manipulability in Logic-Based Fusion', 'qualitative decision theory' and research for 'qualitative optimal ways for resource allocation'.

From april to june 2018, he will work with 2 DigiCosme groups:

On donne une extension des opérateurs de fusion introduits par Konieczny et Pino Pérez 2​ ​
à​ un cadre​ ​où​ ​une représentation plus riche de l’information est considérée. On donne des nouveaux postulats concernant le comportement​ social des opérateurs et l’on​ établit un résultat d’impossibilité​ ​qui généralise​ le Théorème d’impossibilité​ d’Arrow de la Théorie du choix social 1. Les​ principaux résultats que nous allons présenter apparaissent dans le travail de​ ​Mata Dìaz et Pino Pérez 4.
